Mangé III was a collective performance developed with Studio Esca
Over several days, we transformed a raw space into a temporary dining room, a place to host people, food, sound and smell.
Each performance lasted forty minutes and welcomed a small group of guests around a shared table. We served rescued food, prepared and performed in front of the audience. Between each round, we reset the space, cleaned, cooked, and began again.
Mangé explored the gestures of hospitality, giving, passing, preparing, waiting, and the delicate balance between care, waste, and repetition. In total, 160 people took part, shaping the experience with their presence and appetite.
